In my house we have three children and seven pillow pets! I thought it was time that I share my Pillow Pets reviews.
My two daughters each have three pillow pets (Ms Lady Bug, Buzzy Bumble Bee, Magical Unicorn, Snuggly Puppy, Comfy Panda and Comfy Bunny) and my son has one (Silly Monkey).
My Pillow Pet Review: Why I like Pillow Pets
Mom Approved
I like that they were created by a Mom who wanted a toy her daughter would like and was practical at the same time. Like they say, “It’s a Pillow. It’s a Pet.”
Durability
I like they are durable. I don’t recommend this but sometimes they get used in tug-a-war games. The first time I fully expected to find stuffing all over the room. But they have never ripped. I can’t say that is true for the cheap imitations.
Machine Washable
My kids take their Pillow Pets almost everywhere inside and outside too. If they get drug through the dirt or are played with in a sand box I just throw them in the washer and they look as good as new.
No Batteries
I love that they don’t plug in or take batteries. My kids have enough electronic gadgets. I feel good that they enjoy their Pillow Pets so much even though they don’t plug in.
Friends for Life
I was surprised to find out that Pillow Pets are one of the most popular items college co-eds have. It seems they never outgrow them.
My Pillow Pets Review: What I don’t Like
Too Many Pillow Pets
I know this isn’t “bad” but they are all so cute we want all of them! I am sure we will end up getting more as birthday, get well and Christmas gifts.
Cheap Knock-Offs
Because the real Pillow Pets are so popular and last so long companies have been making imitations. Some times they are hard to tell the difference, until they get a little wear. Then they start falling apart.
These companies offer a coupon code or promo code to trick you into thinking you are getting a great deal. Don’t be fooled! The way I have stayed away from getting taken by the cheap-o imitations is I only buy my Pillow Pets at the official website.
Conclusion:
I love these Pillow Pets. They are inexpensive, are greatly loved by my kids and last a long time.
The last time I bought some I got a $25 Walmart gift certificate and 20% off any additional Pillow Pets I bought at the same time. It was a great deal!
